Pinhole Photography: In Response to the Article

Although the cameras for pinhole photography are home made, they are still very effictive in capturing a scene. But, if you are not the most patient person in the world, pinhole photography is probably not for you because the picture taking process can take a couple of seconds up to a couple of hours! It is very easy to find a spot to take the pictures, you just need light. When taking pinhole photographs, the outcome of the picture is a mystery. This makes it a very challenging yet fun project.

Pinhole Photography

This pinhole photograph is really interesting. It probably had a long exposure time since the people appear to almost be invisible. They must have only stood in the image for part of the exposure time. Very cool!

Pinhole Photography

We are starting to do pinhole photography, so I have been looking through some pinhole photos online. I really liked this picture in particular because you can tell that the photo was given a long exposure time through the blurred horse. The fact that everything is so much in focuse except the center of the photograph really gives it a cool effect. I also find the black image on the right side interesting. It's almost as if someone was standing there while the photo was being taken. I look forward to begin taking my own pinhole photographs!
